I walked into a store and thought I would pick up a few bits and piece. I tried to do this with 3 kids in tow. Needless to say, I walked out without the bits I wanted but walked out with 4 pairs of Childrens Sunglasses (for 3 kids), 3 cowboy style hats (one which was pink), a couple of dresses and 2 cute tops (ok the tops for the boys were my idea) and some other trinkets.But you could see just what a girlie girl my daughter is. She loves everything pink, her bags (oh yes bought her a pink bag too), her shoes, her necklaces and Moonstone Beads, her make-up (lip salve) and her dolls. She is going to be so expensive when she grows up if this is a sign of things to come!

Doing up places

My siblings and I just inherted a couple of properties that are in a touristic area. Locally they would not fetch much but as a touristic resort they could fetch a pretty penny. This means I would need to do them up like hotels do. Not a hard task to do and one I will look forward to shopping for. However, first things first, they need some structural work to be done before any work can commence.

Doing it all

I am one of these people who is always trying to do it all. I multitask. I overlap things. I fit in more things in my day than is normally possible and work to ridiculously tight deadlines. What I could do with are mobile computer workstations so that I can watch TV and work at the same time, or cook and work at the same time. But meanwhile my laptop being stragetically placed around the house will just have to do.

Double Baby Shower

I have just had a double baby shower and was given the fun job of buying the Baby Gift Baskets. There is something wonderful about buying teeny tiny baby stuff. Yet the one thing I learnt is that mums-to-be always end up with so much baby stuff (and nothing for mummy!) So I was wondering do I buy lots of baby stuff, a voucher for baby stuff or something for the mummies. I decided on a baby basket because it was a baby shower and a pamper voucher for the mummies! They loved it!

With every diet there are always side effects eg see http://sideeffectsofdietpills.net/phenteripped-side-effects/, but despite my wanting to lose weight, this was not the way I wanted to lose weight. Since my dad died I have lost my appetite and have dropped some weight but honestly give me back my wieght and my dad. This is definately not a good year by any stretch of the imagination!

Pink Shoes

My daughter loves her pink shoes and despite us beng in mourning, I have left the children in regular clothes as I don’t have many dark (let alone black clothes) for the kids. The biggest problem is that she is wearing them to their death. She wears them everywhere and they have all the scratches to prove it. The problem is finding pink leather dye is not easy to find unlike black, neutral and brown. And if I intend to let her wear them more, then I need to spruce them up quickly.

Better than shopping

What is better than shopping? It is when you get free stuff. Designer brands and high end high street shops tend to like to give out samples because they think you will love their products. And honestly it makes sense to take advantage of them. You also get to know that you actually like the stuff or don’t. Besides free stuff, there are vouchers… which usually offer discounts on stuff you already buy… so go ahead and make the most of them.. because why pay more when you can buy more?

Personalised Stuff

I love having personalised stuff. I think personalized tote bags work really well if like me you keep having to juggle your kids and a whole range of activities. Each activity is colour coded and each bag is named. They are prepared over the weekend and ready to grab and go. Definately a great idea. Obviously you don’t need to be as complusive as me but having personalised items are great. I like seeing my things personalised because they make them mine!

Death

My father just passed away. Unfortunately it is not just the sorrow of having to deal with his departure but also all the things to do with his untimely death. There are things to deal with such as wills, title loans Utah, legislation and god knows what.

I have had to go shopping but it has been the worst shopping ever. Popping out to buy things like coffins, black clothes and graves… definitely not the shopping I like.

It is the end of the holiday almost and I was reviewing some photos. It is terrible. Photos don’t lie and I am going to have to do something about it when I get back home. Still I guess I have a couple more days left and I have been swimming daily.. so I guess I’ll shut my eyes a little bit more and enjoy the rest of my wine…and to pretend I’m ready to diet.. I’ll stick a link to dieting here!! Perhaps I’m more drunk than I realise!
