Valentine’s

I have been meaning to get our bell changed since we moved in er 4 years ago. Our bell actually works and I don’t want to change  our doorbell button as it works well with our house both interior and exterior, but I can never actually hear it unless in the hall. Needless to say I keep missing the postman and it means I have to drive out to the post office to get my internet orders. Now if I need to get out of the house, then doesn’t half lose the point of internet shopping?

And today I missed Clare Florist! Argh! Happy Valentine’s Day!

Personalised

I do like engravable gifts as they can be personalised. Unless your name falls in the current top 20 or so names, then you never find anything with your name on it. It is the only way that I ever manage to get something with my name on it (unless I head off to France where my name is more common). I even have difficiulties finding my son’s name who is called Arthur!! A relatively well known name in the UK!!

Tesco Direct

Did you hear, Tesco has released a new and updated catalogue. And currently, you can get triple points on every order. Yippee!!

Wedding Bitz

If you are getting married, you know what a lot of planning goes into it. I am not sure if it will help but if you Visit Wedding Bitz r Us Ltd, you might be able to get all your bits in one go. It will make so many things easier on you. They have a whole range of co-ordinated items and they are at a reasonable price.

Don’t forget to get a wedding cake top piece because a caterer does not automatically assume you want one, and if you are like me you will find that you have an empty cake. Thankfully our wedding favours were of a bride & groom teddy, and we placed one on top of the cake. Made the cake look co-ordinated and even saved the day!

Ballet Shoe Keyring

I bought myself this mini ballet shoe keyring. It is really pretty. It is made just like a real ballet shoe and even made by a ballet firm (Sansha) with ballet shoe materials. It was only 4 Euros. They will also ship anywhere. I am thinking of getting a second one just to make it a pair. It is so cute! Needless to say it also makes a really great gift.

ePuppets

Look at these cute puppets that I found on ePuppets. Apparently the puppets are inspired by nature and literature.

I love the baby and toddler range and wish I discovered them sooner as my son would have had a whale of a time playing with them. They also have finger puppets which I simply adored as a kid. Though I think I just might buy my son some animal hand puppets. He does adore animals and I won’t have to clean up after them. The only problem is to decide which one to get!

I guess I might get more than 1 as the prices are pretty good and the quality seems nice. And combined with the coupons, it will be worth it.

And if you spend over $99 you also get free shipping. :)

Marks & Spencer’s – M&S

Marks & Sparks as it is sometimes affectionately known is a well known huge department store. They are in my list of favourite shops.

You can say that Marksies is split into quite a few departments but mainly they do:-

  • Clothing (Men, Women, Children & Babies) and Lingerie
  • Footwear / Shoes (Men, Women & Children)
  • School wear / uniforms
  • Gifts & Flowers
  • Books
  • Toys
  • Technology
  • Garden, House & Home
  • Furniture & Furnishings
  • Wine
  • Insurances
  • Costume Jewellery
  • Holiday Shop
  • Technology

Both their quality and prices are really reasonable.

Their grocery section has a vast range of delicacies at reasonable prices. They also have ordinary food too. The biggest drawback is they generally tend to sell their own range only. For example they will only sell their own brand water, which is not particularly good. But over all the rest of the items are better than the average supermarket. However you cannot get groceries online presently. You have to go in store to buy them. Its well worth a visit. You can find an M&S on almost every high street.

They now offer Free delivery on orders over £30.00.

They have a loyalty scheme called the “& More”. It is credit card based. The more you spend, the more you earn in rewards to spend back at M&S. Its not a bad rewards scheme and you can use the card elsewhere to earn rewards for M&S.

Have you decided what to get for Father’s Day?

Here are a few great ideas for Fathers Day Gifts! Delightful Deliveries have a really yummy selection of gifts. You can choose from flowers to gourmet foods and fruit gifts to chocolates and plenty more.

The best thing of all is they ship Internationally as well as to the States. They also pay any VAT (except if you live in Norway!). You can even choose your currency.

If you live in the States you can also sign up to one of their clubs.

  • BBQ
  • Beer
  • Cake
  • Chocolate
  • Cigar
  • Cookie
  • Fruit
  • Hot Sauce
  • Pasta
  • Tea
  • Wine

I would love to be part of the chocolate club – Yumm!

Designer Gifts.com

DesignerGifts.com is a new online gift store that sells cheap gifts that are really cool too! I know you often get what you pay for but I think that here the price seems very reasonable for the quality. They currently only ship to the States, Puerto Rico, Guam, Canada and the Virgin Islands, but I think if you give them a call, they may be able to organise deliveries elsewhere. It would be really great if they added Europe to their website delivery. If you order over $75 US dollars worth of gifts, they will also ship to you for Free, even to Canada with any taxes paid. Though the maximum that shipping will cost is just $4.95 using economy shipping which is really good.

Their categories include:-

You can also choose what to buy by price, recipient, occasion or even category! They also have a section offering gift giving advice if you need it.

I do like the fact that they will include a free card with the gift. However, for a nicer touch, you may wish to upgrade to a deluxe card for just $1.25 more.

As well as paying by credit card, you can also pay by Paypal, which is nice and reassuring.

BuyaGift

Buyagift is the place where you buy a gift experience rather than just an ordinary gift. If you cannot decide which experience to buy, you can always buy gift vouchers. They sell such a large range, I would not be surprised if you could not decide. Which would you chose?

  • Theme Park Tickets
  • Spa Day
  • Drive a Sports Car
  • Fly a plane
  • Wine Tasting
  • Lunch for 2
  • Flowers
  • Balloons
  • Balloon Rides
  • Wine & Champagne
  • Hampers
  • Chocolates
  • Acre of Moon or Mars or Venus
  • Name a Star or a Set of Stars
  • DNA storage kit
  • Make Overs
  • Sailing
  • Silver Rolo
  • Adopt a Donkey!

Well the list goes on and on. If you still cannot decide, take a look at the Hot Deals, I think you may find the price too hard to resist! Alternatively go with a best seller, you simply cannot go wrong!
