Another one bites the dust. Jessops has also gone into liquidation. This is exactly the opposite of what I was hoping for. It is such a great shame. I guess the high street will not cope unless it catches up with the information age. My impression is that people have not understood that they need to combine the high street shop with online prices and instant gratification.
Customers no longer want to wait, they want a wide choice and at the lowest price possible. Some compromise there might be such as paying a little more to get it quicker but not substantially more. Until a balance is reached, I fear the demise of several more major stores and small enterprises too. I guess it is a matter of adapt or die!
