Here’s a nice surprise. M&S appliances are not that expensive. In fact, they are among the cheapest even compared to Tesco, ASDA, B&Q, Argos and Wilkinson! And you even get FREE Delivery!
Christmas is coming like it or not. But if you have kids, remember Santa is what makes Xmas. And there is nothing more fun than receiving a letter from Santa Claus except perhaps for a er PRESENT!
It is that time of year again. Well normally we decorate on the 6th December but due to being away then, we will be doing it next weekend. We will go off to buy a new tree (real) and put all our decorations on. This year we even have some candy cane and toystory chocolate baubles. I cannot wait to decorate especially as our eldest is just the right age to enjoy it. I just love Holiday décor !

It is so weird. Until today my first preference to a perfect kitchen sink was a traditional ceramic sink as it did not absorb stains and looks nice. However, cost and availability tended to mean that I would have to recommend stainless steel because these modern perfect looking ones tend to absorb stains eg from a teabag. However, today I saw a copper kitchen sink and fell in love. Perfect if you have a wooden country style kitchen. I only wonder on how hard it is to maintain in perfect condition?
The biggest thing that I would have loved to have is a garden. Rather than for me, for the kids to play in. I would love to have wooden swing sets and perhaps a tree house. And I guess a lounger or two for the parents would not go amiss. Mind you I would be happy with a 2 or 3 seater swing.
On the other hand… I don’t have to mow the lawn every week. Perhaps it is not so bad!
The bad side of being a shopaholic is the fact that you sign up for offers but along with it comes so much junk mail and so many scams. From scams to help someone get millions out of a country to acai scams and fake bank emails to fake websites that take your cash but not send your goods.
The only advice I can give… is do not click on links unless you are 100% sure they are legitimate emails, never give out your password details and always ensure that there is a padlock when checking out of any shop or DON’T give your details.
I currently store all my first aid stuff in a high cupboard in my kitchen but I always worry about it in case the kids get to it. It would be lovely if I had a Robern Medicine cabinet to store my first aid stuff… but failing that perhaps I just need to put a lock on it. After all better safe than sorry and all that is needed is that the kids cannot get in!
I have been offered some work which includes locating cardboard displays and restocking them in some major shops. Don’t think the money is good but work is work so I guess I will be taking them on. The best bit is taking a background look into major shops, their stock rooms and I even get to boss them about what to order and what not. So it is very exciting despite it not paying too well.
I hate choosing a Christmas present for my hubby. He has everything he needs, and I mean everything so I always end up getting him ties… not quite the skinny ties as he hates those but funky ones… but he insists on still rotating the same 3 or 4! What to do.
So, it is socks, ties, shirts or argh…. sounds like I am digging through his wardrobe!
