Acetyl-L-carnitine is an amino acid naturally produced in our bodies. It is a building block for proteins and helps us produce energy. It can be used to treat mental disorders, Down syndrome, poor circulation in the brain, cataracts, nerve pain and even male infertilty.
As yet acetyl l carnitine side effects do not seem to be known. So as always, my suggestion is do not take without proper medical advice!

I was watching an advert on TV and they made out that term life insurance was easy and affordable. And it is true that it can start at a really low price but by my books, you did not get much back. And I like to think I can count on life. But sadly we cannot decide when we die (unless by suicide which would make insurance redundant anyway). So at least you can plan to protect your loved ones. But the only way to leave them better off than they would be now, would be to take out a more expensive insurance than you can actually afford easily.

buy.com has multiple bases including USA, UK, Italy, Canada, France, Germany and Spain which pretty much means they are as international as you can get.
What really impressed me was the price of this Polaroid I1437 Compact Digital Camera. At £60 for a 14 MP, it is cheap especially considering it is a Polaroid. And it has free shipping to boot. Admittedly it is part of the weekly deals, so you might not find it next week!

It gets my goat when you go shopping to places like M&S, TK Maxx, WHSmith, Holland & Barratt spend a penny or several pounds rather and then they make you pay for the privilege of a scrap of plastic to take home your purchases in the name of protecting the environment. I mean if they genuinely cared about the environment there are so many other options.
- They could give paper bags ( Replacement trees could be planted and they decompose and cost would be comparable to plastic bags).
- They could give biodegradable plastic bags. (Environment friendly and comparable price).
- They could give material bags. They could justify the cost by them being say promotional tote bags which they give free if X amount is spent or you can purchase if required amount is not spent. They would be reusable (environment friendly) and a walking advert which would justify the cost.
So personally I think it is crap that they insult you by making you pay to carry your purchases out of their shop!

My idea of Luxury is a house which has an automatic garage door opener, a heated indoor swimming pool which opens being outdoor in Summer. All bedrooms would have an ensuite and my bedroom would have a dressing room and walk in wardrobe. It would also have a nice garden which is low mantainance but must also have a tree house. Ideally has a summer house to make the most of the summer. It would have a large kitchen and a separate dining room. It should also have a study, living room and a drawing room. And if you really want to complete it all a playroom/nursery, cinema room and hobbies room.

Apparently getting disabled status is quite tough. Mostly not because it should be hard but because of the buracracy. I believe you have to get 2 doctors and a board and paperwork for a disability appeal. And many get turned down becuase of the high number of people who try to claim benefits. So it is not just a matter of trouble walking but a matter of people believing it!

It is quite amazing how opinion differs. According to the website at www.acneskincare.org, “Unfortunately, almost all acne skin care solutions do not work”. They then list what items in their opinion do work. Personally I think that most do have some form of effect or they would not sell and would not be viable on the market. If anyone has used any products and wants to leave comments about such products, it would be helpful.

I finally completed my Boots order. It does not contain anything fancy like acne scar removal creams just nappies and baby stuff. But it took 2 days to complete the order which is ridiculous. And delivery is in a week! Feels like forever in todays face pace. Feels particularly long because I actually paid extra for named delivery. Let me just say overall I am not pleased in the least. At least the savings compensate for their incompetence.

My friend’s little gorgeous daughter is really into making up necklaces and jewellery from beads. I was thinking that perhaps I could get her some beading tools as a birthday present. I am not quite sure how she currently makes hers. I should ask her mum in case she already has some. I remember fondly making necklaces out of pasta. I wonder how that would go down as a present today! LOL!

A friend recently purchased a couple of laptops. I was left amazed at the fact that she actually paid as much for a refurbished laptop as she would have for a new one. The laptops were for the kids admittedly but still I do not understand the logic. I do believe that one of them actually developed a fault within days. My suggestion was to complain but I am not sure how covered she is. If it is new, your consumer protection rights immediately kick in and you generally have a year warranty.
