Shopaholic often has discounts and coupons but most often they are geared towards the uk market though not exclusively. We do try to pop in American discount codes and from sites that deliver world wide but it is not always easy. There are specialised sites like ebillme that offers discounts and coupons for the American market like vitacost coupons.

Meanwhile ebillme offers a bit more than just codes. Their aim is that you can pay securely. Mind you, I personally find that paying through paypal is pretty secure. You can also earn 1% on your purchases. What is interesting is they offer buyer protection and guarentee lowest price. In other words if you buy something and a couple of days later you find it half price, you are protected. Pretty cool idea.

Personally I think it is just about sales and commissions. However I believe if you can save some cash, then why not. However, reading reviews where they do not actually sell anything might be more realistic but that is just my opinion!

Recently there has been a lot of hype about ACAI and losing weight. There are actual benefits to acai but when it comes to losing weight.. it is nothing but an acai scam.

But if you want to go with Hype and stuff that is good for you, goji berries are meant to be fantastic. I used to be able to buy them as yoghurt coated goji berries from Julian Graves and the kids would scoff them up. But they no longer do them. If anyone has any ideas where I can buy some from…. drop me a comment please. It will be really appreciated.

Eczema is a horrible condition which affects the skin. A friend of mine has a daughter who until recently suffered really badly from eczema. She did everything she could and read everything she could. She visited sites like www.eczema.net and tried every tip under the sun and when she was at the point that she thought nothing could help, she heard about bathing in camomile, and voila it worked. So she now put a few camomile bags of tea into a bath every now and again and keeps eczema at bay. And her daughter has never been happier. It has been a few months now and so far so good.

The moral of the story that sometimes you do not need to buy expensive stuff just natural remedies!

The great thing about the Internet and shopping, is that you can find anything and everything. There are obviously different ways you can search for things like using a free web directory. You will find that directories unless very specific eg wedding directories will be a tad lacking as they rely on people knowing about them and advertising. At least if it is free, they might actually bother to  sign up. It is the paid directories which are more lacking. However, personally I believe in following recommended links on blogs and review pages or googling it!

I thought about changing our spare room to a playroom. I just about had enough of toys all over our house. I won’ t be buying any rustic furniture or anything like that. I just pushed the bed aside, moved out most of the other furniture and I will be placing all their toys in the room and dumping the kids there too. Will it work? I hope so. I need a clean tidy house again. I think I might get some wall stickers to jazz it up but that’s it. Cheap and Cheerful and hopefully er TIDY!

Why do auto insurance companies seem to only insure you on a car. I would love it if I could buy personal drivers insurance. This would mean that I could drive any car whenever I needed or wanted. I needed to drive a friend’s car recently and I thought I could just drive it. Only for me to find out that I was not covered. I was not pleased. My hubby who is the primary driver on our insurance can drive other cars but I am a named driver and so can only drive those cars. Grr.

We had a wedding recently and I paid a lot of attention to what my kids were wearing. My daughter had a nice new dress, my sons were in suits. And I had not got round to buying myself anything. Despite being a shopaholic, with twin babies, most of my shopping is online and er food comes first. However I was able to add a flower corsage to my dress and to my daughter’s and suddenly I felt special. I felt important. At just £15 for a corsage it is far cheaper than a new dress and you do feel really special.
