Shopaholic? Me?

Just back from a nice long weekend away. It is always so nice to go off and relax somewhere. Admittedly, we weren’t going for the Outer Banks rentals just Butlins but  I have to say it superceeded my expectations.

We stayed in Gold accomodation, which meant that I had every comfort I needed. As for my son, I have to say it was tremendously special as he met Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam, Angelina Ballerina, Barney and Billy the Bear. Even dear hubby was happy as he had time to read and was even able to borrow a couple of complimentary DVD’s. The only drawback was wifi was not available but then again it depends upon whose perspective you are seeing it from. They did have an internet cafe to give a fix to internet junkies and it is meant to be a holiday. After all if you only want internet, then you might as well stay at home!!

I think our favourite bit was the swimming pool or should I say pools? There was a volcano jacuzzi, a kids slide area, a toddler pool, a wave pool, a swirly bubbly area, a cave, a shallow pool, a large pool, flumes and some major rides. We went there daily and stayed hours. It even put the fun fair out of first place (and that had free rides too)!

Hubby wants to make it a week next time… so I must say it comes with our recommendation.
