Shopaholic? Me?

Despite loving shopping, shopping for several of the same item can be rather tedious. One of the things to running a couple of flats is the need to buy multiple sets of items. Yes you could go to places like Tesco but essentially they are not aimed at people buying multiples. This is why there are wholesales. However, my experience has taught me that buying wholesale housewares can often cost more than shopping at Tesco. Take Macro for example. It is not the first time that I have bought from there and they often have good offers. However, you can walk out of there with more than you planned to buy and worse still walk out without what you wanted. To top it off, often things cost more than Tesco! So my plan is to sit back, keep using my beloved laptop and order online. Then wait for my goodies to arrive as booked. Not a bad plan!

My 3 year old son is becoming so technological that it is only a matter of time before he starts requesting cad drawings, electronics and chemistry sets. I won’t be able to shop at ELC anymore. Not that I can buy what he last requested from there. He politely asked me for a new faster computer because his laptop was not fast enough. My mum used to complain because she said we were expensive, but I bet our generation of kids is more expensive wanting all this latest technology!

On a more unusual note, I thought I would see the otherside of things for a minute. We are living in a material world and sometimes we have to pay for our materialism. For example we used to use asbestos and a side effect of asbestos was mesothelioma. Not a cheap price to pay. Thankfully on the plus side, we have moved leaps and bounds in technology and advancement and can solve most of the issues that we create as a result of our materialism. Thankfully there is money in materialism, which can hopefully go towards our scientists to fix our problems resulting from our keeping up with the Jones.

I have been asked a few questions about Disney in Florida, but I fear that there is very little advice I can give having never booked a trip or actually visited. However the one piece of advice I have been given is to hire a car especially if going around Florida. You must bear in mind that you really must be completely protected with insurance when you go to the US – remember they are a sue anything culture! So getting yourself some Florida auto insurance quotes must be a top priority (that is assuming you do wish to rent the car!)

I am not going to write a whole load of diet pill reviews but I will, as promised, review Alli the latest over the counter drug.

First of all, this is only for people who really need to lose a substantial amount of weight. It is not for someone who wants to lose a couple of kilos or pounds. You should have a BMI of over 28 to take Alli.

Alli is a brand name for the drug Orlistat, often also known as Xenical. The main compound is Orlistat. It is not cheap at £50 for a months supply but for something that works is very reasonable.

It claims it helps you to lose up to 50% more weight. This is something that I cannot substantiate. What I do know is that after having lost a substantial amount of weight, I came to a plateau. I found that Orlistat helped me move from the plateau and continue losing weight. It needs to be taken in conjunction with a low fat calorie controlled diet. IE don’t expect miracles. And if you eat high fat…. expect unpleasant side effects (oily loose bowels).

You should not take it for more than 6 months as it will interfer with your ability to absorb vitamins and minerals.

It is something I can recommend… but with severe warnings!!

As a general rule I have found that the best travel deals tend to be found online with places like www.lastminute.com and expedia. However when it came to looking for Euro Disney, I found that in actual fact going direct to the Disney website offered far better deals that anywhere else.

If it is your first time going to Euro Disney than it can seem complicated. I will review Euro Disney once I actually visit it when I get there. And I will try to explain how to go about it, however I can only explain what I have done and until I actually visit… it will mean that I am not sure how sound my advice is. However I do know we all learn from our mistakes.

I have been seeing a lot of advertising of the diet pill Alli. Since it has become an over the counter medication, it is now freely available and anyone can take it. I will actually review the pill better at a later stage. The current question is, is this the best weight loss pill around?

My sister and I were chatting and apparently her friend was going on about wanting to buy a colon cleanser. I was always under the impression if you ate healthily you don’t need to buy things to clean your insides and that a day of eating apples and drinking water would clean you out. But then again, I am a shopaholic and as a shopaholic I am bound to help her find whatever it is she wants to buy!

I am back from my holiday. I cannot understand why holidays fly so fast when otherwise a week seems to drag on forever when it is a working week. C’est la vie I guess.

So I was wondering about how to get into the swing of things, should I do a slimming pills review which usually is whay comes after a holiday or should I write about my next holiday?

Decisions, decisions! Well… I think I will do what I am probably next best at doing… procrastinating!
