To cut out all this gloom and doom, I think I am going to treat myself to some sexy lingerie. I mean if I waited around to have some lingerie given to me… then I have to wait for Valentine’s. The only problem is finding maternity sexy lingerie does not seem to be that easy!! I must have a good mooch around and hopefully come up with something fab!
With the economic climate the way it is, it is only fair to start worrying about the inevitable. You cannot be confident that your job will be there tomorrow, especially considering that businesses are tumbling one after the other like dominos. So you start thinking about protecting yourself and your family. You follow a health insurance lead and if you can lay your hands on job loss insurance, well do it.
The ironic thing is with the climate the way it is people stop shopping, yet the only way out of the crisis is to actually shop more!! So watch this space to help you help improve the current economic climate.
Buying the furniture for our flats is stressing me out, and I love shopping. It makes me wonder how places where they have a ton of properties like Outer Banks rentals manage? I guess they probably end up getting whole sale rates. Thing is when you only have a couple of flats, it does not quite work out. Maybe one day when I have a whole portfolio of properties, then I can get furniture that is affordable and can outlast tenants!!
We have a couple of flats which we rent out. The biggest problem I find is that somehow the furniture always gets damaged. It does not matter whether you go for the finest furniture or discount furniture. So this time, we decided to rent semi furnished… leaving just what furniture was left. Except, the first request was for new furniture including a double bed, washing machine, new curtains and who knows what else. I guess it is time to go shopping!!
My hubby was on and on about golf. He said he wants to take it up and wants a golf set. He went on and on about mens drivers and tees!! At first I thought he was just losing it when he spoke of teas and drivers but then he spelt it out to me… he was talking about G-O-L-F! No wonder he lost me. I am probably the least sporty person I know!! LOL!! Now tea and drivers I could do with, shame about the credit crunch!!
I thought about buying my hubby a watch for our anniversary. It’s our 10th Anniversary and it is meant to be tin or aluminium, so I thought a watch would be a great idea. So I started looking at the IWC Automatic and then it dawned on me that his current watch includes a USB thingy and his previous watch showed videos and all his watches are technology based!! What chance do I have of choosing the right one for him! But still perhaps a watch is the way to go!!
I have come across these Benchmark rings which really caught my eye. They are made of tungsten but I am not sure I know much about tungsten. I did a search on wikipedia for Tungsten but really I was not enlightened. What I do know is that the prices are reasonable and the rings look chic. Bearing in mind that I am a yellow gold person, I think I will stick with yellow gold but if you are into silver or platinum, then tungsten could probably be an alternative choice!
I have been waiting for 10 years to go on a cruise. My hubby and I considered a cruise for our honeymoon but decided on a multi country visit instead. So we said that we would go on a cruise for our 5th Anniversary. Unfortunately due to medical treatment, it got postponed to our 10th Anniversary. And now… it is going to have to be postponed again. Apparently you cannot go on a cruise unless you are less than 24 weeks pregnant by the end of the cruise. I will be 26 weeks!!!
Yes, I am extatic about being pregnant… but it feels like such a slap in the face. The only thing that I am grateful is that we had not booked our cruise because we might have had to lose everything. Not a nice option. 
I don’t have the foggiest when we will get round to a special cruise… I suppose our 25th Anniversary.
