Shopaholic? Me?

I am looking at Bathroom Suites, as I need one for our house in Staines. I need to fit the bathroom in a smallish room. I want to put in a bath but perhaps a shower would be more practical. Though having one person come over to give me a quote he said it was not possible. But then I think he just did not want to give me a quote as he walked away refusing to do the job! Talk about wasting time.

I really like this shower as it feels luxurious without taking up the amount of space that a bath would take. I just wish that installation were as simple as choosing the suite!

I am trying to do up one of our houses. Hence all the house shopping posts you may be reading recently. One of the things I am doing is changing the bathroom. So I am looking for things like shower heads, taps, and obviously a bathroom suite! The bits themselves are reasonably priced. The problem is the labour to install them!

I bought the washing machine from Comet. Honestly at £155 with Free delivery it was a great deal. I did succumb to pay extra so that I can have it sooner. But you could pick and chose when you receive it. But for a little extra I get it delivered this sunday. I also ended up buying a fridge! There was no charge for that as I was having the washing machine delivered with free delivery also.

I will let you know what I think of their delivery and customer service. Just watch this space.

You can get sales service from the comfort of home. You can check things out and get sales people to demonstrate the products or try them on so that you can see what they look like on a real person rather than a hanger or model! Hmmm.

Just a quick update that Tesco Direct have Free Delivery this week. It is free when you spend £50 at Tesco Direct which frankly is very easy to do. So if you are planning to order, now may be the time to do it!

I believe in love! I am not talking Romance Novels but true love. I have been married 8 years and the time has flown by. They have been very happy years. Yes obviously we also have our ups and downs but when it comes to it, we are still pretty much madly in love. People often comment to us how unusual it is to see a married couple still holding hands and kissing. We still whisper sweet nothing and we have made it a point to not lose any of the romance we had while dating. After all it is the fun part of being in love.

Do you know that he still buys me flowers regularly and I might do silly little things like slip a note in his wallet, or wait for him in some silky new underwear on our bed! It keeps the romance alive. And I still get butterflies occasionally!

It is after all, about give and take. You cannot just expect to receive. You also need to be able to forgive. If you cannot forgive and forget, how can you expect your partner too? It is about cherishing each other for your good points and ignoring the bad. It is about cuddling and making up. It is about the gratitude that I feel, that my husband lets me be the shopaholic that I am!

I was looking to buy 2 washing machines for a couple of flats that are being rented out. As they are rented out, I was not fussed about any extras. I wanted a cheap and basic model so that it can be supplied and I can replace as and when necessary. My only requirement are that they are cheap enough that when they break down, I can just replace. Obviously once the guarentee is over.

Believe it or not, I found the cheapest washing machines at Comet. They were at only £155 each! To top it off, they also included Free delivery. That made my day, especially considering that a call out charge to fix a machine is usually in the region of £90! 
 

 

I am never happy with my looks. I guess few women actually ever are. I keep shopping to keep up dating my looks. I buy accessories, clothes, shoes, make up etc! However there are somethings that you cannot change easily. I am especially talking about hair styles. You cannot cut your hair one week and then want long hair the following week.

I came across a website that offers virtual make overs. It is a really amazing website. You can chose different types of hairstyles, make up, accessories, specs (if you wear them), jewellery and more. They use available products that are currently on sale in the market such as Bourjois or if you prefer designer looks, they also offer designer brands like Versace.

I spent ages on the web site playing with my “new” looks. I tried different hair styles, different make-up and even different specs. What I liked best was that I tried styles that I never imagined I would ever consider let alone try. Yes, my curiousity got the better of me – and do you know what? Some were far nicer than I could have imagined (while styles I thought would suit me – well let me not say anything further!)

Does anyone know what shopping in Ibiza is like? I am really curious as I may be heading there for a holiday. But obviously if shopping is limited, I will have to head elsewhere. All comments welcome.
