Holiday

I am so badly in need of a holiday. Hypermarkets have lots of cheap Spain holidays but I think if I get myself a holiday to Malta, I will get some me time as everyone will gather round to play or look after Arthur. It will be good to get some time off. On the other hand, a real holiday might make more sense. Perhaps somewhere I have not been before. Eygpt sounds nice but Eygpt might be a bit too hot for me. It hits 40 degrees plus regularly in summer. Far to hot for all of us. Perhaps in winter but that is so far away.Greece might be an alternative option.

Decisions. Decisions. Decisions!

Locks of Love

Unfortunately life is not all about shopping. Sometimes we need to give a little as well as to receive. So I want to tell you about my current favourite charity – Locks of Love.

Locks of Love create wigs for children who suffer from hair loss as a result of a medical illness such as Cancer. I am sure that you can appreciate how hard it is to be a child in today’s world, let alone when they are suffering from an illness and losing their hair in the process. Unlike with Adults, where you might be able to get a wig of sorts off the peg, you cannot get a child size wig. And for a wig to feel natural and look natural they need to be made specifically for the child. Otherwise wigs would slip and slide and be completely unnatural. Locks of Love create wigs specially for children in need.

This is perhaps a rather unusual charity in the sense that they do not just ask or need money, but they appreciate your donated hair. And the best bit about this charity is that over 90% of money received goes directly to the children unlike other charities where more than half can go to administration costs.

So it does not matter if you cannot afford to donate money to them, your hair could be just as important. Just visit Locks of Love for further details.

Co-op Travel

Co-op Travel is a travel agent. You can get a 5% discount simply by booking online. What is really appealing is that it is so easy to grab yourself a week break in the sun for around £100 per person. The biggest decisions that you need to make is where… Ibiza, Costa Dorada, Costa Brava, Majorca, Turkey, Malta…..

Park West Gallery

Park West Gallery is one of the largest Galleries arounds. They have probably one of the largest fine arts selections available. They auction their fine art throughout the United States of America and Canada.

Though what intrigues me the most is their sister business – Park West at Sea. They actually have auctions for fine art whilst on a cruise. Now despite the fact that I can mostly afford to shop, I think this may be beyond my means. But if you want to sponsor me to shop there, I will be ever so grateful.

Bliss -  A Cruise, Fine Art and Shopping all combined. What more could a girl ask for!

Supermediastore

I have been searching for a place to buy cheap DVDs. Hubby dearest bought this DVD recorder which is fantastic for recording off TV. We have endless episodes of Big Cook Little Cook on DVD. But it does mean that we need extra DVDs to record them to. I also need DVDs to save my photos too. Thankfully they sell them both in retail quantities and wholesale. I can use the wholesale quantities of DVDs.

And as a bonus they even do cheap HP ink! Yippee. Means I can print on my DVDs too.

The only problem I have with supermediastore is that they are us based, so I need someone UK based.
