Boots

These Boots were made for walking…. walking straight into a Boots Store, or if you prefer not wearing Boots, then just order online!

As you probably know Boots is a pharmacy plus superstore. If not, where have you been living? What would you do without Shopaholic? Me? Never mind, we are here to help.

Boots are fundamentally a pharmacy. They stock every type of medicine, drug, lotion, alternative therapy that you can think of. They also do prescription medicine too. They not only go the further step of renewal prescriptions but they go even further by delivering the medicines direct to your home. Isn’t that fantastic?

But there is more to Boots than pharmaceuticals. They are absolutely fantastic for Baby Products (including Nappies, creams, clothes, baby food and more!), Gift Packs (especially at Christmas), Special Offers (particularly great at 3 for 2’s), Clothes (Not so great except for kids), Educational Toys (they even stock ELC toys), Photo products & developing, Beauty, Hair, Slimming Aids etc! They really do a whole range, just peak at their website. They are particularly good in their kitchen appliances on prices. To give you an idea…. I purchased a fridge from them and save over £100 on the Tesco price for the same product! And you know Tesco, they have some of the best prices around. Just imagine how good a deal my fridge was!

They even have a range of Clubs. These include:-

  • Health Club – Expert & practical advice on the heath topics that matter most to you.
  • Parenting Club – They regularly send you updates and topics concurrent with your babies age, as well as discounts and coupons. You also get a FREE gift bag and a whole range of samples.

Last but not least, they even have an advantage Card for regular shoppers. You can pick this up in store or sign up for it. You get a generous 4 points per pound. This is equivalent to 4 pence per pound or 4%. They often do triple nights or extra points nights. On a triple night you get back a 12% equivalent of what you spend. Which means you can really save up for treats. I tend to save up for a whole year, and have more than £100 to spend on myself at Christmas or for my Birthday. And it all comes from things like toothpaste, medicine, nappies, shampoo etc!

Note that if you forget to take your card in store, you must ask them to validate your receipt and take it back within 30 days so they can credit your account with the points.

They always have some form of offer on, so just go ahead and check them out. Just click on the link below.

The Ballet Shop

The Ballet Shop is every dancer’s dream shop. The Ballet Shop supplies all dance products for all dancers and specializes in Ballet obviously! The Ballet Shop is owned by a dance teacher and in based in Malta.

They have some of the most competitive prices on dance wear and products that I have ever seen. Even beating eBay? prices! To top it off they will ship Free if you are based in Malta. However, as most of us are not based there – they will ship to the rest of the world too for a nominal charge. To anywhere in Europe it is just 3.5 Euros ( approx £2.30 ) or just 6 Euros ( £3.99 ) to the rest of the world. The charge remains the same regardless of the size of the order. The more you order the cheaper the shipping cost is per item. When you consider that most places ask for £3.95 + per order just to the UK, you know you are on to a winner.

Now The Ballet Shop is not just about sales. They even have articles and information. And their customer service is second to none.

So what do The Ballet Shop actually sell. They have a wide range of stock covering Leotards, Tights, Exercise clothes, Bags, Jewellery, Castanettes, Make-up, Accessories, Character Shoes, Dance Sneakers, Flamenco Shoes, Jazz Slippers, Latin, Ballroom & Salsa Style Shoes, Pointe Shoes, Soft Traditional Ballet Shoes, Ribbon, Insoles, Toe Caps, Soles, Socks, Gifts, Character Wear, Skirts, Cardigans, Uniforms*, Hair Bands, Scrunchies, Bun Holders, Jazz Pants, Leg Warmers, Hot Pants and even Cycling shorts! They come in both Children and Adult sizes, and you should see the colours. They have a whole range of colours. They work with a wide range of well known suppliers such as SoDanca, Sansha, Yebra, Roch Valley, Début, Arcancil, Anastasia and many more.

And my favourite of all their products simply has to be their mini ballet shoe keyring. They are so adorable. They even come in a wide range of colours. They make them by both SoDanca (who have a wider range of colours) and Sansha (slightly more petite if you do not want much bulk on your keychain). They also do other miniatures such as jazz shoes and mini sets. But why don’t you just go there and see for yourself. And if you get tempted, their products arrive really quickly too. Enjoy!

*Uniforms include RAD & BBO as well as other boards.

Dell

If you are looking for a PC then are the people you must go to! do both lap tops and the traditional desk tops. Their computers are stylish and reliable. Without going into technical specifications, even their cheapest pc is a great place to start whether it is your first computer or an upgrade. Their laptops start as low as £299.

Their website is split into several sections:- Home, Small Businesses, Medium Businesses, Large Businesses and Public Sector. The price does not really vary from one section to the next but if you are not a business it does pay to go to the home section as you will know exactly what you are paying. The business section does not include delivery and VAT and can mislead you into thinking you found a great deal when you haven’t really found one! Dell also sell Printers, Ink, Projectors, Keyboards, Mice, Software, Speakers, Memory and other IT paraphernalia.

My last few pc’s have all been dell. My hubby has meanwhile been through a variety of other PCs. Honestly, I can say that the after sales service of far outweighs any after sales service of any competitor. They even go as far as to send you a box by courier and a courier collect your PC and they return it. And that is on the lowest end of scale. If you have an upgraded service, they come to you and service it for you. I believe they even do so within 48 hours anywhere in Europe.

Another plus point is that the majority of laptops now come with a wide screen, whereas the desk tops come with LCD’s. They are truly bliss! What are you waiting for? They even offer hire purchase if you really need that extra reason to buy from .

Happy New Year

Here is to wishing you all a Happy & Prosperous New Year!
