XL are the new airline on the block. Formerly known as Excel Airways, they have updated themselves as XL. Nice and easy to remember too!

With XL you can find just a Flight or a full Holiday Package. It is pretty easy to find a package in the region of £225 for 3 star accommodation even with half board included (although you can find cheaper as they advertise but it is a little harder). Alternatively you can find flights for under £100. It is actually cheaper to go abroad for your holidays than stay in the UK with hotels and B&B’s starting at £50 a night!

They fly from 11 airports around the UK – Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, East Midlands, Exeter, Gatwick, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle and Stansted to 17 different destinations worldwide – Antigua, Barbados, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Gambia, Greece, Grenada, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Spain, St Kitts, Tobago, Tunisia & Turkey.

They even offer a whole range of extras, which can really make your holiday special. You can order champagne, pre book your seats, get extra leg room etc.

The best bit about their website is that they also have a section dedicated to Destination Guides. It even includes upcoming events. Great for ideas to choose places to go to as well as what to do once you are there. Perfect to help plan your holiday timing and destination as well as every other aspect of your vacation.
